Our Team
Ed Hartman - Photographer
Let me tell you about myself… I became interested in photography in high school when I got my first 35mm camera as a graduation gift and I haven’t stopped taking pictures ever since! After years of people encouraging me to start my own photography business I have finally taken the time to become more serious about my work. I really enjoy helping people capture special moments in their lives and love to share in the joy when they see their photos for the first time. I have worked in youth ministry for years and have developed the ability to build a natural rapport with teens and their families. This new endeavor allows me to combine my vast experience with youth and adults with my love for creative photography into what is now my own business, Ed Hartman Photography. I look forward to helping you tell your story in photos.
April Hartman - Client Services
I’ve been married to Ed for 28 years and love the journey we’ve enjoyed so far. Ed has a natural ability to put people at ease which is one of the first steps to great photographs. However, we also believe that when it comes to building a successful photography business, it’s about more than just the photographer. So, Ed has asked me to partner with him in this endeavor to better serve all facets of our client’s needs. I assist him during photo sessions, help behind the scenes and work directly with our clients during the photo selection process following the shoot. I enjoy being hands on helping our models with poses and sharing lots of creative ideas. I can also hold a light reflector like nobody’s business! We believe two is better than one when it comes to the fine details like noticing hair out of place, a necklace clasp that needs to be turned around and making sure you will look your best. After all, it’s truly the little things that make the biggest differences.
